It's already all happening.
What if your reality TV obsession is actually really important for your personal growth?
Hey, bestie!
Last night I found myself at a New Moon Sound & Cacao Ceremony, not knowing what was going to unfold… and honestly, that’s exactly how I like to arrive to these things.
Open.
Curious.
Heart first.
What came through surprised me with how quickly it moved.
I was visualizing my future self… more empowered, more rooted in who I know I’m becoming… and almost as soon as I settled into that image, I felt the gap.
The space between her and me, right now. And then came this piercing thought of, “it hasn’t happened yet”.
I noticed it for what it was.
A story.
A familiar one.
And before I could even consciously work through it, my mind went somewhere else entirely…. to Scheana Shay on Vanderpump Rules, in a confessional, smiling and pointing to her forearm tattoo that reads, “it’s all happening”.
And honestly? That was the message I needed.
What made me smile even more was that a friend had shared a reel just the day before about how her clairvoyance shows up for her through scenes from movies… like full cinematic moments that drop in as messages, as knowing.
And I realized… for me, it’s reality TV.
Duh.
It always has been.
My inner knowing speaks in the language of Bravo confessionals, TLC moments and MTV montages.
The archive I’ve been building since elementary school hasn’t just been pure comfort and entertainment… but also a whole internal library that my subconscious knows how to search.
It really feels like such a huge part of my own subconscious storytelling.
The way our inner world doesn’t communicate just in journal prompts or structured thoughts… but also in the stories, scenes, and images that have already made a home inside us.
The ones that moved us.
The ones that stuck.
The ones we watched on repeat without needing a reason.
Your subconscious is always queuing something up.
The question is whether we’re present enough to catch it?
I don’t think it’s random.
I think it’s deeply personal.
A whole mythology built from everything that has ever made you feel something… and it’s always been working in service of your becoming, even when it looked like you were just watching TV.
This really feels like another glorious moment to extend some new invitations…
🕳️ The permission to trust that the messages you receive are valid, no matter what form they arrive in.
🕳️ The permission to take your intuition seriously… even if it shows up in a Bravo confessional.
🕳️ The permission to let your inner world speak in its own language, rather than the one you think it should use.
Shout out to MTV, Bravo, and TLC for the very in-depth archive I’ve been building since elementary school. Turns out it was always research.
With love,
💕Lauren
