What if we let go of the need for perfection and simply allowed ourselves to be celebrated as we are, right now?
When I started to design the Permission to Celebrate Exhibition, I couldn’t have imagined how much of a physical love letter the experience would turn out to be. Even after envisioning it and intuitively creating all of the moving pieces, there were so many moments of remembering…so many invitations to trust that things don’t have to be perfect to exist, to be shared, or to be on display.
I realized more quickly than ever before how the birth of this project was also offering me a mirror into my inner world…inviting me to remember that I, too, do not have to be perfect to exist, to share my heart, or to put my passions on display…that celebration isn’t something we have to earn. We are all worthy of celebrating ourselves without needing a reason. We are all inherently celebratable—no matter how perfect or imperfect we are.

Well said! Osho, a philosopher from India, also said something similar. That even without material achievements or outward success, there's poetry in us and we deserve to be celebrated. This was liberating to read, Lauren :)
